ABOUT SUNWAY REIT

Sunway Real Estate Investment Trust (“Sunway REIT” or “Trust”) is one of Malaysia’s largest diversified real estate investment trusts (“REITs”) with a portfolio strategically located within award-winning integrated townships in key areas of Greater Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Perak and Johor.

Sunway REIT was listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Malaysia”) on 8 July 2010. As at 31 December 2025, the Trust’s market capitalisation stood at RM7.9 billion, with a total property value of RM10.2 billion.

Sunway REIT owns 28 assets across multiple sectors, comprising 14 retail properties (including one undergoing redevelopment into a retail-focused tourist destination and seven hypermarkets), six hotels, five offices and three industrial properties.

Sunway REIT’s portfolio is concentrated in Sunway City Kuala Lumpur, home to its flagship asset, Sunway Pyramid Mall. Other properties in the township include Sunway Resort Hotel, Sunway Pyramid Hotel, Sunway Lagoon Hotel, Sunway Pinnacle and Menara Sunway. 

In Kuala Lumpur city centre, the Trust owns six assets: Sunway 163 Mall, Sunway REIT Hypermarket – Ulu Kelang, Sunway Tower and and a three-in-one integrated property called Sunway Putra which consists of Sunway Putra Mall, Sunway Putra Hotel and Sunway Putra
Tower. 

Within Selangor, the portfolio comprises eight properties: Sunway Pier (which is planned for redevelopment into a retail-centric tourist destination), Wisma Sunway, Sunway REIT Industrial – Shah Alam 1, Sunway REIT Industrial – Petaling Jaya 1 and four Sunway REIT Hypermarkets located in Kinrara, Putra Heights, USJ and Klang. 

In the northern region, Sunway REIT holds six assets across Perak and Penang. These include SunCity Ipoh Hypermarket and the newly acquired AEON Mall Seri Manjung in Perak, as well as Sunway Hotel Seberang Jaya, Sunway Hotel Georgetown, Sunway Carnival Mall and Sunway REIT Industrial – Prai in Penang. In the southern region, the portfolio includes two properties in Johor: Sunway Kluang Mall and Sunway REIT Hypermarket – Plentong.
